Hair Care
Use the right hair care products
Stick to sulfate-free shampoo & conditioner to keep your hair happy and hydrated.
Brush gently
Use a soft or extension-friendly brush. Always start from the ends and work your way up.
Protect from heat
Limit heat styling when possible – and never skip heat protectant spray!
Sleep smart
Braid your hair or tie it in a soft ponytail before bed. A silk or satin pillowcase is your extension’s BFF.
Be careful in the sun & water
Sun, saltwater, and chlorine can be tough on your extensions – so give them some extra love and protection.
How often should you wash your extensions?
Just as frequent washing isn’t ideal for your natural hair, it’s also not recommended for extensions. Ideally, wash your extensions 1-2 times a week. If you exercise regularly with your extensions in, you might need to wash them more often to keep them fresh.
If you need a quick refresh, dry shampoo is a great option to keep your extensions looking clean between washes.
